Transport

At Goldholme, we run a fleet of articulated lorries. Stone can be delivered on pallets or in bags; off loading choices include HIAB type crane and rear mounted forklifts. Small loads can be organised by light HGVs.

All of our fleet of HGV lorries are unmarked so as not to compromise the customer relations of our many sales partners – this is particularly important when we make direct deliveries on their behalf!

All of our sales and distribution is through Quickstone Midlands Ltd, a company established in 1999 for this purpose. Many of our sales partners, particularly builders merchants, collect finished products from our Ancaster quarry with their own transport and deliver directly to the end user.

Our team are happy to ship finished product abroad in shipping containers. Historically we have supplied building stone to numerous destinations across the globe.
