Goldholme Stone is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing and well respected names in the British building stone industry today. Operating from quarries near Stamford in Rutland and Ancaster, Lincolnshire, we can saw and supply limestone faithful to almost any regional colour and textural variation.
Our forte is working closely with project managers, brick distributors, building merchants and architects to provide a reliable source of building stone and stone masonry for housing developments and corporate building projects across the whole of the country.
Our principle quarry lies at Ancaster a few miles to the north east of Grantham in Lincolnshire. Here we produce Ancaster stone of all types and colour variations. Our second quarry is situated to the north west of Stamford in Lincolnshire and lies three miles to the west of Clipsham, the stone type of which runs through our quarry.
Our stone reserves at each local quarry are very substantial and additional reserves have been secured by the purchase of large swathes of farm land adjacent to each quarry.
In addition to our architectural stone and cropped walling, we enjoy the challenge of restoration projects as well as internal masonry such as flooring, stone fireplaces, staircases, window arches and other internal artistic design features.
