We recently came across a brochure we published nearly twenty years ago. At the time our main yard was based at a former railway station in little Bytham. As you can see from the picture on the back, the railway ran right past the back of our yard, notice the absence of any fencing between our masons and the lines themselves. On the bottom page we see Mark Vinter an apprentice stone mason working on a millstone. Unfortunately Mark didn’t stay as a mason, but 20 years later he still drives our HGV articulated lorries.
